Two middle school games and one high school game this week.
The revised Phone Tree will be emailed to families this week -- this one takes into account families with players on only one team vs both teams. There will also be copies available at the Friday game.

Tuesday, September 3, MS vs. Central Christian Academy, 4 p.m., at Central's field on West Pike Street in Houston. Directions here. Remember, players must arrive at 3:30 for warm-ups.
Wednesday, September 4, Practice 1-3 p.m.
Friday, September 6, MS and HS vs. Plants and Pillars Athletics (homeschool group from Beaver County). MS game is at 3:30; players please arrive by 3 for warm-ups. HS game is at 5 p.m.; players please arrive by 4:30 for warm-ups. We will be offering a concession stand for this game!
Senior Recognition Night
In the past the team families have honored the senior players and their parents on Senior Recognition Night. Originally, the 2013 Senior Night was planned for the home game on September 20 versus RTCS. RTCS had to cancel that game and it appears the slot may be filled with an away game with a soccer club in Morgantown.
If we are to continue with the tradition of the Senior Recognition Night, we will have to plan it for the one of the following nights:
September 13 is a tentative home game with the Morgantown soccer club. The middle school plays at 4; the high school game would be at 5:45.
October 4 is a home game with Champion Christian School. They have a half day of classes that day and are asking us if we can schedule the game at 2 p.m.. We could then do the Senior Recognition afterwards, before the middle school game. This would prevent most dads from attending.
October 11 is the home game (rescheduled) with RTCS. The recognition would be between the middle school and high school games (usual times).
We also need someone (individual or a committee?) to step up to plan the event. In the past, this involved getting a decorated cake and providing corsages for the moms; however, the individual or committee taking this over can plan it differently if they wish. Thank you for considering how you can help the Hornets honor their senior players and their families.
